Research Scientist, Clinical Research
NYU Grossman School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health, invites applications for a Research Data Associate (RDA) with the Global Health Implementation Science Team (GHIST) Lab, within the Section for Global Health at the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity (IEHE).
Position SummaryThe RDA will coordinate study activities, ensure high‑quality data management, and support daily research operations for NIH-funded projects focusing on global health, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, HIV management, and community engagement. The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and Research Scientist and will demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Job Responsibilities- Demonstrate knowledge of clinical research administration policies, including regulatory requirements such as IRB approval.
- Develop manuscripts for publications and presentations at national conferences; contribute to article preparation on research outcomes.
- Assist in the development of sponsor‑related reports on study progress (e.g., data and safety monitoring committees, principal investigators, sponsoring agencies).
- Provide direct project support and coordinate activities to achieve study aims and meet deliverables and deadlines.
- Coordinate activities and meetings across multiple projects and provide administrative support services.
- Prepare figures and diagrams for presentations and publications.
- Participate in editing and proofing of grant proposals, annual grant reports, and manuscripts for publication.
- Compile and analyze data for presentation to sponsors and regulatory agencies.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and team‑building efforts for GHIST interns.
- Demonstrate interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English to collaborate with a diverse, multi‑disciplinary team.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Associate’s degree plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer literacy with good interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in global health, especially within Africa.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting; willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and data analysis tools (SPSS, Dedoose).

Salary Range$51,236.15 – $51,236.16 annually (salary depends on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need).
