Job Description:Radiography Instructor
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Radiography Instructor to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing the next generation of radiologic technologists by sharing your expertise and passion for the field. Your contributions will help shape students’ futures, guiding them toward achieving their educational and career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide engaging, high‑quality instruction across a variety of radiologic technology topics.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, course materials, and assessments designed to achieve effective learning outcomes.
- Deliver hands‑on training in radiographic procedures and techniques, emphasizing positioning and radiation safety.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere that promotes student engagement and success.
- Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and additional support as needed.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, trends, and new technologies to ensure curriculum relevance.
- Collaborate with faculty to uphold program quality and meet accreditation standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Prior teaching or instructional experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for educating and mentoring aspiring radiography professionals.
