** Within the Clinical Laboratories of New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, each achievement is defined by a commitment to getting it right the first time, every time. We’re inviting you to join the respected laboratory professionals who Make It  this exciting role you will coordinate a wide variety of administrative, fiscal, personnel, technical and clerical activities to ensure operation of the Histology Laboratory.

Initiate new procedures as well as study, refine and modify established methods and techniques while managing & training staff. Serve as a resource to the Leadership Team. Address complaints regarding laboratory functions and work with the Leadership team as well as the staff to resolve identified problems. Provide direction and supervision to Lead Histotechnologist, Histotechnologists and support staff.

The shift for this position is Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:00PM. Location is our Weill Cornell campus on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
** Preferred Criteria
*** American Society for Clinical Pathology Histotechnolgist Certification (ASCP HTL)
** Required Criteria
*** College degree in Medical Technology or related science
* New York State Histotechnologist License, Pathologists’ Assistant License, or Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York State Education Department
* 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with Master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science#APJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
