Work Location: Brooklyn, NY 11220
Work Schedule: Part‑time (Weekend only). Flexible to choose Saturday or Sunday or both.
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our team. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing mammography screenings.
Essential Functions- Perform mammography screenings in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Position patients correctly and ensure proper compression during mammogram procedures.
- Operate mammography equipment and perform quality assurance checks to ensure image quality and accuracy.
- Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for high‑quality images.
- Educate patients about mammography procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize risks to patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Other duties as assigned.
- New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Bi‑lingual in English and Chinese a plus.
