EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Position:
Full‑time Employee Assistance Specialist in the Bureau of Health Services within the Counseling Service Unit (CSU) at the Brentwood location. Reporting to the Clinical Site Supervisor.
Location:
New York City Fire Department, Brentwood.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical counseling to FDNY Fire and EMS members and their families, addressing social, emotional, family, physical, job performance, and substance abuse issues.
- Baccalaureate degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field plus at least two years of full‑time counseling experience.
- Or a high‑school diploma or equivalent plus three years of full‑time counseling or employee‑assistance experience.
- All candidates must have at least a high‑school diploma and one year of counseling experience.
- Educational or experiential equivalency may substitute for the above requirements.
$54,878 – $65,000 per year.
