Salary Range: $42,180 – $42,180 per year (subject to change)

The Columbia Center for Children’s Environmental Health seeks a Program Manager who will coordinate activities for the “neuroimaging studies” subcontracted to Dr. Julie Herbstman. The role reports to Dr. Herbstman and works with Dr. Algermissen to oversee HR, administration, and data collection necessary to execute the three parent grants.

• HR Operations (30%) – liaise with Dr. Algermissen, review team efforts, develop feedback systems, provide feedback on each research worker for annual reviews.
• Administration (35%) – meet to discuss caseloads, monitor appropriateness, review weekly dashboard progress with Dr. Algermissen.
• Research/Project Management (35%) – operational oversight of the neuroimaging data collection team, monitor milestones, manage study budget, report to federal agencies, train team, oversee regulatory activities, and perform related duties.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of related experience.

• Prior experience with program and project management.
• Experience overseeing data collection teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage a large research team, setting priorities across multiple projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
