A gentleman, on the Upper East Side, with early-stage Parkinson’s needs to hire an experienced wellness-focused Assistant to help maintain his physical health goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and organizing workout regimens with his Physical Therapist, weight trainer, yoga instructor, Occupational Therapist, etc.
  • Accompanying him on daily walks.
  • Organizing and confirming doctor appointments and daily medications.
  • Ensuring he’s eating proper daily nutritional meals to support his physical activity.
  • Working with the housekeeper who prepares meals to plan for the week.
  • Attending sporting events and outings in the community.

    • Ideal candidates will have a mutually enthusiastic interest in sports and may even be a former athlete. Candidates should have a background and education in physical therapy or training, have an understanding of the necessary nutritional needs for similar clients, and be comfortable working in a private home setting. Schedule is Monday to Friday, ideally working a 9am-5pm or similar daytime hours.

    The family is flexible for the ideal candidate. Salary range: $75-120k plus benefits.
