Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a MRI Technician - Per Diem - Outpatient Radiology - Jamaica Estates. In this role, the successful candidate Under the direction of a Radiologist, operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images and performs procedures according to established standards and practices, including patient identification, safety standards and completion of required forms before allowing a patient to leave zone area.

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Technical Diploma Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services. New York State Radiologic Technologist License or New York State Radiologic Technologist Temp Permit. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Advanced Certification in MRI required within 180 days of Hire or transfer. Strong communication (both written and oral), problem solving, and customer service skills.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Program or related Health field. 1 - 2 years MRI technologist or training experience.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $55.00 - $55.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
