Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide / Personal Care Assistant (HHA/PCA) who is bilingual in English and Spanish to join our team and provide exceptional care to clients in the Queens area, specifically Woodside and Elmhurst.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, and needs to healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary restrictions or preferences are adhered to.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Assist clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed routines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals in both English and Spanish.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with integrity and flexibility.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client care.
