Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Downtown Pharmacy
. You will receive incoming prescriptions, review them for accuracy, and fill them with the correct medicine and dose. You will also talk with customers to help them understand their medications and possible side effects, advise them on medication storage, and maintain a safe, clean work environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is familiar with pharmaceutical best practices.

• Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions
• Provide information to patients on side effects, dosage, specific storage needs, and interactions with other medications
• Maintain excellent patient records and pharmacy files
• Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it appropriately
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

• Must hold a current state pharmacist license (RPh)
• Must have an Immunization License
• Prior Authorization experience
• Compounding experience Preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Chinese (not required but a plus)
