Community Technician - VUE - Thursday-Monday 11pm-7:30am

Assist in monitoring this residential program for individuals experiencing homelessness, maintain a safe environment, engage individuals in an approachable and empathetic manner, manage conflict with self‑awareness, screen residents and visitors, document in logbooks and progress notes, manage inventory for supplies, maintain fire safety drills and logs, provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance/NARCAN, assist with inspections and audits, escort clients and serve meals as needed, help maintain an orderly and clean facility.
Position is subject to mandatory overtime.
- Full‑time 37.5 hours per week
- Tuesday‑Saturday 11pm‑7:30am
- High School diploma or GED required
- CPR Certification or ability to obtain certification required
- NYC Fire Safety Guard Certification or ability to obtain certification required
- NYC Fire Safety Coordinator Certification preferred; willing to attempt to acquire certification
- Security guard license preferred; willing to attempt to acquire license
- Food Handler Certificate preferred; willing to attempt to acquire certification
- TB clearance when required
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness preferred; effectively communicate with others both in writing and orally; ability to maintain professional boundaries; basic computer literacy required; bilingual abilities a plus
- Vaccination preferred but not required
