This vacancy will be posted on the internal Career Website for 5 business days. Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completing one (1) year of service in their current position, with exceptions for written warnings or suspensions as specified. Part-time associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department, provided it does not unreasonably reduce operational efficiency.

The probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees and four (4) months for part-time employees working more than 3/5 of a normal workweek. Probation does not apply to shift changes.

The Certified Central Sterile Technician will perform duties within the Instrument Room areas, including decontamination, preparation, and sterile processing of surgical instruments and supplies for patient use, following Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.

SCHEDULE: 3 PM - 11 PM

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a nationally accredited central service exam for Central Service Technicians; and holds and maintains the following credentials administered by a nationally accredited central service technician credentialing organization:
  Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
