At the Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Interventional Radiology, we provide expert care from initial visit through recovery. We are seeking a Procedural Physician Assistant with a Radiologic Technologist (RT) license to coordinate and deliver direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings. The PA will perform histories, physical exams, ECGs, and interventional procedures such as fluoroscopy and CT‑guided interventions, and will diagnose, manage, and create treatment plans under delegated autonomy.
Job Responsibilities- Provide clinical services and care in both outpatient and inpatient settings in conjunction with supervising physician.
- Coordinate ongoing care of established patients, ensuring diagnostic testing, sub‑specialty consultations, and follow‑up appointments are completed timely.
- Coordinate care of new patients, ensuring diagnostic testing, sub‑specialty consultations, and follow‑up appointments are completed timely.
- Assist physician in surgeries and/or procedures where applicable.
- Obtain initial histories and perform physical examinations; document clinical findings in patient medical record; develop and implement plan of care in conjunction with supervising physician.
- Issue prescriptions for drugs, devices, and immunizations as indicated.
- Provide health education counseling to patients and families; answer questions about disease and treatment plan.
- Respond to patient phone calls, answer questions, and refer questions to physician as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain clinical and research database; assist physician with coordination of clinical trials.
- Prescreen and triage all new patients prior to scheduling appointments: collect relevant medical materials including scans and records from outside hospitals and physicians.
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments for new patients with multiple medical subspecialties; review and summarize clinical information of obtained history materials prior to appointment; share same with multi‑specialty care team.
- Establish and maintain educational materials; support programs for patients and their families.
- Graduate from ARC‑PA accredited program.
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required to use fluoroscopy and CT.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in a clinical setting highly desired; new grads may be considered.
- Prior experience coordinating clinical protocols desired.

- Current New York State Physician Assistant License & Registration.
- Certification from the National Commission of Physician Assistants, Inc (NCCPA).
- BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS or PALS (if applicable).
