Base pay range

$20.04/hr - $27.04/hr

Responsible for coordinating and implementing in-house programming, including assessments, goal planning, evaluating progress, reviewing residents, monitoring recreational programs, seeking community resources, and maintaining trip logs. The role requires making independent judgments, ensuring individuals receive high-quality services, and that all services follow individual plans. The Assistant Program Manager must be able to travel, possess good writing and communication skills, and be an assertive advocate.

The position supports a holistic system of care, assessing individual needs and connecting individuals with necessary services, both internal and external. Responsibilities include evaluating needs, making referrals, participating in service reviews, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain records.
  • Participate in team and staff meetings.
  • Assist in planning agendas for meetings.
  • Collaborate with consultants, especially psychologists.
  • Follow through on committee recommendations.
  • Attend meetings when delegated.
  • Complete investigation certifications related to incidents.
  • Ensure safety safeguards are followed.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with OPWDD and Justice Center regulations.
  • Prepare staff schedules, including managing leaves and coverage.
  • Evaluate staff performance.
  • Assist in skill development for individuals served.
  • Conduct rounds and ensure safety and quality of care.
  • Track medical appointments and manage medical records.
  • Coordinate transportation for activities and appointments.
  • Manage supplies and personal effects for individuals.
  • Develop recreation schedules and implement activities.
  • Participate in admissions and discharges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 1 year in Human Services or related field;
    Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 1-year administrative experience.
  • Minimum 2 years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Respectful and considerate attitude.
  • AMAP, SCIP-R, and First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate large vehicles.
