Job SummaryThe Licensed Social Worker is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, providing interventions, and developing treatment plans for all children on their caseload in the foster care program. Clinical hours count towards LCSW.
- Master's/Limited License - $60,000
- Masters/License - $65,000
- Performing clinical and trauma-based assessments; establish treatment goals and interventions, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team (family, case planning, medical team, health homes).
- Providing trauma-informed treatment, TFCBT, CPP, and others.
- Structuring interventions to decrease problem behavior and increase developmentally appropriate pro-social behavior.
- Coordinating community mental health referrals.
- Participating in case conferences and multi-disciplinary clinical team meetings, as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree from an accredited university in behavioral sciences or a related field
- Preferred 1-3 years' experience delivering direct services to children, youth, and families.
- Compliance with: required background checks, mandated reporter training, and applicable provisions of the NYS Education Law.
- Spanish Speaking Required
- A limited permit is allowed, provided that a License will be obtained within two months before the expiration of the restricted permit.
