: $17/hr - $19/hr commensurate with experience.

The Residential Aide (RA) ensures the wellbeing and safety of the program’s clients and staff during their shifts, providing crisis intervention as needed.
Shift schedule: 8am‑4pm, 4pm‑12am, 12am‑8am, with possible 12am‑12pm or 12pm‑12am shifts. Works 7 days a week and all holidays.
Responsibilities- Enforce program policies and procedures.
- Build rapport with clients and engage professionally.
- De‑escalate tense client situations.
- Ensure safety, security, and integrity of residents, guests, and facility.
- Conduct periodic facility walk‑throughs.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
- Distribute and unpack meals delivered to site.
- Perform light custodial duties: clean tables, chairs, spills, and trash.
- Communicate resident behavior to clinical staff.
- Enforce Residential Code of Conduct and House Rules.
- Advocate against homelessness and HIV/AIDS.
- Work occasional overtime and flexible scheduling.
- Fluently speak Spanish (preferred).
- Work with homeless migrant population.
- Maintain high client confidentiality.
- Demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Work well under pressure.
- Self‑motivated and assertive.
- Team collaboration for problem solving.
- Present at program site 100% of the time.
- Experience working with clients in a residential setting.
- Background in crisis intervention preferred.
- High level of time management and flexibility.
- Exemplary communication skills.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with homeless and migrant populations.
