Supporting children and youth in expressing emotions and developing coping strategies through creative and kinesthetic methods.

• Conduct individual and group sessions to support children in coping with healthcare experiences.
• Design and implement therapeutic programs to meet emotional and developmental needs of pediatric patients.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of therapy sessions, patient progress, and outcomes.
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to express feelings and develop coping strategies.

• Certified Child Life Specialist with certification through the Child Life Council.
• Experience working with the medically fragile pediatric population is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Passionate about supporting children and families during challenging healthcare situations.

Rate: $40 per hour
