Psychology Assistant
US-NY-Einstein/Resnick - Bronx
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThe Psychology Assistant will assist the study in administering neuropsychological tests, collecting data, conducting preliminary statistical analyses using SPSS.
- Perform neurophyschological testing
- Interviews, data collection and tabulation.
- Perform library research.
- Managing databases using Excel and Filemaker.
- Organize grant information for IRB.
- Must be willing to learn phlebotomy techniques.
- Report writing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required. Coursework in Psychology preferred
- Major in Neuroscience is preferred
- Experience of working in a Neuroscience Laboratory preferred
- Experience with software programs such as Excel, SPSS, and MATLAB preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Excellent organizational, oral, written, and analytical communications skills; strong database management and clear understanding of clinical and research databases
- Strong project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac operating systems
Maximum Salary Range: USD $27.70/Hr.
