Job Type: Short Term Casual, Temporary until June 2026, 6 hours per week, Salary $24.00 per week.

Position Summary:

The Program in Occupational Therapy is seeking a Student Research Worker to work with the PI and research assistants to organize laboratory materials related to behavioral research.

• Communicate with community and research partners.
• Organize meetings, minutes, reports, and executive summaries.
• Organize participant recruitment.
• Research coding (qualitative and quantitative methods). Experience with mixed methods research designs preferred.
• Conduct literature searches.
• Enter data in databases and perform data management.
• Manuscript formatting for various editorial systems.
• Perform other duties as required/requested.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, or data science.
• Current student enrolled at Columbia University.

• Current student at the Mailman School of Public Health (preferred).
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or other appropriate science discipline.
• Previous experience working in a research laboratory setting is desirable.
