Base pay: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Bilingual Spanish/English required.
Location:
Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, NY.
Hours:
Afternoons on weekdays (Part-time).
Job Overview:
Braverhood is seeking a part‑time Spanish‑speaking DSP to support a young woman with disabilities in the home and community.
- Foster a positive environment for individuals to achieve personal goals (e.g., social interactions, activities of daily living)
- Work closely with Case Supervisors on monthly goals and action plans
- Document services rendered and client progress daily and monthly
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities in the home and community
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training once a year
- Submit all paperwork and monthly summaries on time
- Adhere to all agency and OPWDD regulations
- Accountability and commitment a must!
- Experience with special needs community – preferably with children or young adults, including community outings and communication/social skill support
- Reliable transportation
- Completion of online DSP training course
- Must be punctual
- Casual dress code – appropriate and respectful
