Licensed Social Worker

Overview

FLEXIBLE HOURS - Minimum 20-25 hours per week, multiple locations with parking (QUEENS, FLUSHING, BRONX, ROCKAWAY, SUFFOLK, LONG ISLAND, BROOKLYN)

Primarily providing mental health services to adult home populations (non-regulated)

RATES - Fee for Service structure $30-35 per billable service - groups of 7 or more $90

or salaried up to 80K annually (DOE)

CANDIDATES are required to have LMFT, LMHC, LMSW or LCSW

• Provide social work services to individuals and families in need
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
• Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care and services
• Assist with medical documentation and record keeping
• Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
• Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support individuals with behavioral challenges
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients with similar needs

• Strong background in social work principles and practices
• Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
• Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
• Knowledge of mental health counseling techniques and interventions
• Ability to perform crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and strategies
• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions
• Proficient in child and family counseling techniques
• Strong research skills to stay informed on current social work practices

A degree in social work or a related field is required, along with relevant experience in the field.
