Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking an Inpatient
Pharmacist to join our team!

• Serve as a fully integrated member of the Pharmacy Department to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services.

• Responsible for reviewing and processing inpatient non-chemotherapy and chemotherapy orders.

• Will be rotating into many areas within the hospital including Main Pharmacy, UCC, PEDS, ICU, M18, and OPD.

• Have a good understanding of inpatient operations and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.

• Pharm
  
  D (or equivalent) required.

• A valid NY State Pharmacist license required.

• Strong computer skills and the ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems.

• Prior hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).

• IV compounding experience with sterile preparations (preferred).

• Omnicell experience (preferred).

• Highly motivated and able to work well with others in a demanding environment.

• Detail oriented with a mindset to improve patient safety and maintain cleanroom sterility.

• Able to make sound judgments, even in the absence of complete information, without unnecessary escalation and excessive planning.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in supporting new ideas and others’ beliefs.

• Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn.

• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday; alternating weekends and holidays.

• Evening shift 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

• Shifts, hours, and weekends may vary to meet the needs of the department.

Pay Range: $57.24 - $91.59
