Overview

The Behavior Analyst is an integral component to the expansion and development of the Behavior Services Department and Lifeword Learning Adult Program at Anderson Center for Autism. This position is responsible for providing direct person-centered applied behavior analysis services in the Adult Program, the development of quality, evidenced-based individual programming and staff training, management and supervision of Behavior Specialists. The Behavior Analyst also collaborates across all departments to promote resolution of behavior-related issues and creates, implements, and evaluates programmatic development to support the individuals we serve.

To actively further the agency's mission to optimize quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care.

Pay Range: $68,080.00 - $79,080.00 Annual Salary;
Based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Has substantial knowledge of autism spectrum and related disorders.
  • Develops, trains and oversees quality behavioral and skills-based support and intervention plans.
  • Maintains appropriate data collection systems that include data analysis and data-based decision-making.
  • Assists in the daily operations of behavior service areas as a means to promote program development and expansion of services.
  • Implements behavioral and skills assessment for individuals.
  • Utilizes efficient and effective communication strategies to promote an open exchange of relevant information in supporting those we serve.
  • Develops individual and program specific reports and summaries.
  • Participates in agency training initiatives.
  • Provides direction and leadership to the Behavior Services Department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Behavioral Services Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's in psychology or applied behavior analysis preferred; will consider graduate degrees in other relevant human services discipline.
  • Certified BCBA required (or expectation of imminent completion, as a Behavior Specialist)
  • New York State LBA preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the human services field is preferred.
