School Based Counselor (LMSW)

Contract – Mon‑Fri 09:00 am – 02:30 pm

Pay Range: $57.00 – $62.00 per hour

• This contract position requires a skilled professional in school‑based counseling to work onsite in New York, NY.
• The role involves conducting individual and group counseling sessions, collaborating with school staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• The position is scheduled from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 am to 02:30 pm.

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as per IEP mandates.
• Communicate regularly with parents and team members.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for behavior modification.
• Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and school districts.
• Participate in professional development for staff and caregivers.
• Complete billing and documentation timely and in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare reports and IEP goals for annual reviews.

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• Experience working with school‑age children.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of behavior modification strategies.
• Understanding of state and federal regulations related to counseling.
• Experience in preparing reports and documentation.
