Location: New York
Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery
Full‑time, Day shift – New York‑Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
OverviewJoin a team of highly skilled clinicians collaborating to provide exemplary care to patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities- Autonomous management of postoperative and critically ill cardiothoracic patients in the CTICU, including ECMO, mechanical ventilation, vasopressor support, and cardiac monitoring.
- First‑assist in the operating room as competency increases.
- Coverage of up to two weekends per month; rotating days and nights.
- Strong general surgical, ICU, or cardiothoracic surgery experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physician Assistant related studies.
- NYS PA Licensure and current NCCPA Certification.
- ACLS/BLS and NYS Infection Control certification.
- DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance.
$70.30‑$93.88 per hour + competitive benefits.
