We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join our team. In this role you will work closely with the WHS Site Manager, WHS Specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS). You will attend weekly associate safety committee meetings, greet new hires, and participate in weekly case management review meetings as necessary.
As an OMR you will independently assess and administer first aid, refer care to outside medical providers, and advocate health and wellness principles to support Associates (AAs) every day. You will also learn about OSHA regulations, risk, and analysis, while assisting the larger onsite team with first aid needs and safety operations.
Responsibilities- Provide first‑aid support and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.
- Minimize AA risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
- Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
- Coordinate and maintain workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs for work‑related injuries.
- Provide daily activity logs and end‑of‑shift reports.
- Engage with AAs and leadership on the operations floor to coach observed at‑risk work habits.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure medical supplies are stocked.
- Participate in training and certification for first aid, CPR, and AED.
- Maintain all first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.
- Work flexible shifts that may include days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
- Assist with random saliva drug‑testing protocols.
- Provide effective care in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site.
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Work in environments with variable noise levels.
- Work in environments subject to variable temperatures and weather (including outdoor loading areas).
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (when applicable).
- For candidates without an adult First Aid, CPR, or AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, certification must be obtained within 3 weeks of the start date.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider.
- Must hold one of the following certifications:
- Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
- Current active Athletic Trainer Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) or an equivalent state certification.
- Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with an industrial wellness program.
- Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
- Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation.
- Proficient in digital record‑keeping.
- In the past year, at least six months of job experience in military medical roles such as Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $71,000/year in our highest market. Pay varies based on location and may change with experience and job‑related knowledge. Amazon is a total compensation company and may offer equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
