Hospice Spiritual Counselor (Brooklyn, Queens and Nassau County)
For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non‑abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area.
ResponsibilitiesProvides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and members of the Hospice Team.

Salary$63,775.58 - $67,475.58 annually
Qualifications- One (1) year experience in pastoral/spiritual counseling with issues relating to illness, death, grief and bereavement
- Minimum two (2) units of Clinical Pastoral education, credentialed Chaplain or Board Certified Chaplain preferred
- Recognition as a Pastoral or Spiritual Counselor
- At least one year of hospice experience preferred
- Baccalaureate Degree required;
Masters preferred
