Location: New York
Community Nutrition Specialist – Registered Dietitian – Columbia – Bariatric Outpatient Nutrition – Full Time
Bring your experience to the clinical nutrition team at New York‑Presbyterian Columbia Irving Medical Center. You will provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy for diverse adult bariatric surgery and medical weight management populations in outpatient settings, working closely with interdisciplinary providers and leveraging telehealth technologies to ensure exceptional patient‑centered care for our patients and families.
This is a full‑time, day‑shift position (Monday‑Friday).
Preferred Criteria- Master’s Degree
- Experience with bariatric surgery and weight management populations
- Experience in an outpatient nutrition setting
- Baccalaureate Degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an ACEND‑accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
- Current registration with the CDR
- Current certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist
- Minimum 3 years progressive clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian or minimum of 3 years of community program experience with a minimum of 1 year as a Registered Dietitian
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and patient counseling skills
Salary Range: $72,500 – $85,500 annual
