Overview

Position SummaryOffice Supervisor, FGP – Bethpage – Multispecialty works with the Practice Manager or Regional Leader to manage staff, patient care workflows, and operations to ensure a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with FGP policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and supervise staff.
- Coordinate daily operations: reception, phone, staffing, provider schedules, and workflows.
- Promote excellent patient experience and address issues appropriately.
- Monitor supply inventory and medical equipment maintenance.
- Lead and participate in staff meetings, performance reviews, and workflow improvements.
- Liaise between non‑physician staff and physicians for efficient workflows and patient access.
- Communicate issues and roadblocks to the Practice Manager.
- Assist with payroll, attendance, timekeeping for direct reports.
- Establish office procedures, train staff on policies, and maintain cross‑training.
- Support key operational initiatives (MIPS, Check Mate, Patient Secure, digital scheduling).
- Review operational dashboards, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Oversee front‑end processes including copay collection, insurance verification, authorization, referral, and denials.
- Participate in clinical quality programs, maintain in‑baskets and open encounters.
- Serve as brand ambassador for NYU Langone Health, embodying Mission, vision, values, and CARES principles.
- Mentor staff, conduct competency assessments, and promote career development.
- Support staff engagement and participation in corporate meetings.
- Perform additional duties and projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 1‑3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent training).
- Experience in a fast‑paced multi‑physician practice environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
- Progressive leadership experience or demonstrated potential for leadership competency, including coaching others.

Salary TransparencySalary range: $64,350.00 – $66,144.00 annually. The salary range complies with New York State Law on Salary Transparency. Actual salaries depend on experience, education, and hospital need; the range does not include bonuses or incentives.
