Operating Room Technician – Labor and Delivery - Full Time – Day Shift

You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team.

You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. Experience life at the forefront of a better tomorrow – for patients, our hospital and your career.

This is a full time, day shift position covering the hours of 7:00am – 7:00pm with rotating weekends at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria

• Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technlogist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire
• Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
• High school diploma or GED
