Outreach Coordinator - Cardiology – Days

Provide compassionate, patient focus and superior customer service - keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. You will be responsible for operational throughput in our high volume Cardiology Practice and serve as clinical resource to staff, providers and patients. The Outreach Coordinator will provide input to clinical programming and participate in departmental and Hospital education programs and service excellence initiatives. You will provide support to patients, families and providers through coordination of care.

Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.

This is a full-time, Monday - Friday day shift position including travel to offsite locations in the NYC area (transportation is provided).

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Experience with scheduling procedures
• Bilingual in Spanish

• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated ability to build Physician relations
• Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with all levels of staff
• Basic computer skills required

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range: $32.55-$39.06/Hourly
