Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech, Radiography & Medical Imaging
New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. We are seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (DRTs) to support the Manhattan VA Medical Center (VAMC) campus of the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System, and this is an excellent first role for recently registered technologists as well as a flexible option for experienced techs looking to add days. Part Time, Full Time, and Per Diem schedules are available across the Brooklyn and Manhattan VA campuses, so new grads can build hospital-based experience one or two days per week while finishing school requirements, studying for boards, or working elsewhere.
Current openings at Manhattan VA Medical Center (VAMC) are (2) DRTs for Mondays and (2) DRTs for Fridays, with a shift of 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Mondays and Fridays). In this role you will perform routine and complex digital radiographic exams — chest, abdomen, spine, skull, pelvis, and upper and lower extremities — along with portable imaging throughout the medical center, including inpatient units and the Emergency Department.
You will work alongside experienced VA technologists and radiologists in a supportive, teaching-oriented environment with structured orientation, modern digital radiography equipment, and full PACS integration. Recent graduates of accredited Radiologic Technology programs who hold or are actively pursuing ARRT (R) certification are welcome, and candidates who are registry-eligible and scheduled to test will be considered. If you are ready to start your career serving Veterans — or to pick up additional days at a nationally recognized VA medical center — we encourage you to apply.
