Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, especially in OBGYN (all trimesters).
• Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to appropriate procedures and precautions.
• Transfer and archive images into the PACS system for physician review.
• Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students as needed.
• Schedule examinations and coordinate patient transport as necessary.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones and documenting patient data.

• ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• BLS – Basic Life Support
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Strong OBGYN ultrasound experience across all trimesters
• High School Diploma or GED and successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program
• Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
