American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for an evening shift role at a Level 1 Trauma hospital, requiring NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist licensure and 2+ years of experience.
Requirements- R.T. (R) (MR) certification required
- NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- NYS IV/Injection Certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration
- Level 1 Trauma hospital with 700 beds across two campuses
- Radiology MRI department performing a variety of exams, with neuro exams most common
- Approximately 16 exams per shift
- Closed MRI machines including GE 3 Tesla and GE 1.5 Tesla units
- Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Perform a variety of MRI exams with a focus on neurological imaging
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
- Uses Kronos for timekeeping
