Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients in a professional, courteous manner at the front desk
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls, relay messages, and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographics in the EMR system
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication with insurance providers
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming at all times
- Prior medical office front desk or receptionist experience is required
*** MUST SPEAK SPANISH***'- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pay collection, and prior authorizations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume clinical setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus
