Salary
: $66,800 - 68,000 (Based On Experienced and Educational Experience)
General Responsibilities:
CGS is looking for an Experienced and Empathetic Therapist for our prevention program. As a therapist your are responsible for assessing family needs le working with families through therapeutic sessions. Identifying the progress of the family and when the family will be ready to cease receipt of services.
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, education or other relevant human service profession.
- 2 years experience in children and family services.
- Competence in clinical assessment of family dynamics and experience in making rapid clinical and family assessments in a community-based setting, as well as knowledge of the foster care system and/or juvenile justice system preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work with families in their own homes
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when families are available to meet, including evenings and weekends.
