The Caregiver provides hands-on support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. They follow individualized service plans, document changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence.
Key responsibilities include engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, maintaining a clean environment, and communicating effectively with families and care team members. In Memory Care, caregivers create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, age 18+, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain, and qualities such as compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
