The Dietary Supervisor
- Nutrition & Dining manages the shift including production, service and retail operations to ensure the highest quality service to our patients, visitors, employees and guests while adhering to all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state and federal agencies.

• Supervise staff, promote effective communication, demonstrate team-based management, and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
• Oversee meal preparation, production, quality, taste, appearance, catering, and adherence to dietary requirements.
• Manage retail and cash handling, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and end-of-month and end-of-year documentation and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate vendor management, equipment and inventory needs, daily food service management software use, and verification and entry of diet orders and meal selections as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.

• Education - 2-year degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, Business Administration or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Experience
  - Minimum of 1 year of supervisor-level experience in food service, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Licensure
  - Not required.

• RD, CDM, CFPP preferred.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Servsafe or Food Safety Manager certified.
• Cooking experience.

• Standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
• May be exposed to areas of extreme heat or cold.
• Primary work location may include loud noises, wet and slippery conditions, exposure to sharp objects.
• A licensed ability to drive may be necessary.

• Shift – Full Time
  - Days/Evening Shifts may range between day and evening hours as scheduled by the department.

Standard Rate of $21.42 to $27.85 per hour plus benefits.
