Universa Care is hiring a homemaker and companion to care for clients in northeast Queens and Great Neck. You'll work out of our Universa Care of Great Neck office at 45-16 251st Street, Suite 110, Little Neck, NY 11362.
Pay: $19.65 to $25 per hour. The starting rate is New York's home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it.
Schedule:
Part-time and full-time.
What you'll do:
- Provide companionship, conversation and activities
- Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and go with clients to appointments
- Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine
What you need:
- A caring attitude and reliability; caregiving experience is a plus
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
