Rome Health is seeking a detail‑oriented Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician to join our team. This role ensures surgical instruments, devices, and equipment are decontaminated, sterilized, prepared, and packaged for safe patient care. We provide a supportive environment and will train the right candidate to succeed, even if certification is not yet obtained.
Key Responsibilities- Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments, devices, and equipment
- Inspect, assemble, and package instruments following established safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Participate in flexible scheduling, including on‑call, rotating weekends, nights, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols consistently
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work overtime as needed
- Commitment to safety and patient care
- Certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD
