Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

$18.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Participated in providing patient care at the appropriate skill level under the supervision of a provider or physician.
• Delivered a standard of care that met or exceeded the expectations of a competent and knowledgeable Medical Assistant.
• Organized and maintained the clinical environment to support efficient patient care.
• Assisted physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Identified patient needs or problems and effectively communicated findings to providers or clinical team members.
• Provided quality customer service while maintaining patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Ensured compliance with policies, procedures, infection control protocols, and patient privacy/confidentiality standards.
• Completed all mandatory training requirements.

• High school diploma or GED, Certificate from a California State-accredited school
• BLS Certification
• Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required
• Good communication and customer service skills required

• Pay Range: $18 to $23
