As a Resident Care Associate, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to residents while helping maintain a safe and engaging community.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living based on each resident’s individualized care plan
• Assist residents with personal care and daily routines while promoting independence and dignity
• Assist residents with transfers, lifts, repositioning, and transportation using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Help residents with mobility and maintain a safe environment
• Provide assistance with incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs as assigned
• Help protect residents’ skin integrity through proper repositioning, personal care, and observation
• Get to know residents’ individual needs, preferences, routines, and abilities
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor
• Communicate effectively with nurses, care team members, residents, families, and other departments
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident and family requests
• Create a warm, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents
• Follow individualized care plans and contribute observations that help the care team provide excellent care
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and proper hand hygiene procedures
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
• Recognize and report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, mistreatment, or violations of residents’ rights
  
  Participate in required training, competency programs, emergency drills, and safety activities
• Assist with resident evacuation and emergency procedures when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and team members
• Follow all company, community, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive ready to work as scheduled
