We have an excellent opportunity for a part-time/every other weekend Hematology/Blood Bank Supervisor to join our team.

Monitor accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunological and microscopic tests.

• Provide training.
• Check competencies.
• Document fair and objective performance evaluation.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities.
• Review all critical values.

• NYSED license required/Laboratory Technologist Certification.
• Associate Degree in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of six years' recent experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Prior experience in a leadership role.
• Lab Science understanding of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Banking and Microbiology.
