Rockaway Home Care is looking for caring, reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support clients in their homes throughout Nassau County, New York.

With clients across the county, we're looking for HHAs in Hempstead, Levittown, Mineola, Freeport, Port Washington, Massapequa, Long Beach, Inwood, and surrounding Nassau County areas.

Your location matters. Instead of applying to separate openings for every town,
apply once and let us know which part of Nassau County.

Our recruiting team will work to match qualified HHAs with available cases based on:

• Your preferred work location
• Your availability
• Your schedule preferences
• Current client needs

You’ll provide one-on-one support in a client’s home, which may include:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Mobility support
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders as permitted
• Light housekeeping related to the client’s needs
• Companionship
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition
• Completing required documentation
• Following the established plan of care

• Current New York State HHA Certificate
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable and compassionate
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to providing respectful, quality care
• Previous home care experience is helpful but not required

• Competitive pay: $18–$22 per hour
