As a Medical Assistant in Women's Health, you will provide compassionate, patient focus and superior customer service - keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist Practitioners and Management by taking vital signs and accurate histories of patients in the practice. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas.

Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.

This is a full-time day shift position located at the New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The schedule is as follows:

• Monday 11:00AM - 7:00PM
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00AM - 6:00PM
• Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Experience working in Women's Health and/or OB/GYN

• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program
• Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to Put Patients First
• Basic computer skills required
