We are seeking caring individuals for rewarding part time, one-to-one positions, teaching daily living and community integration skills to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Community Habilitation Counselor
provides support and skills training to individuals in their homes and also in community settings.
Staff will provide 1:1 assistance with every day living skills (including but not limited to personal hygiene, banking skills, physical fitness, etc.),to maintain or to develop the highest level of independence possible for them.
The staffwho work for Community Habilitation should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.
Day hours, after-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Community Habilitation

HOURS:4 to 12 flexible hours weekly based of the needs of the individual
STARTING SALARY: $20.78 - $22.86per hour plus additional shift differentials as applicable
- Acceptable NYS Driver's License and a reliable vehicle
