Insmed seeks a Medical Science Liaison to support the Field Medical team covering Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals, providing scientific expertise on rare and pulmonary diseases, and supporting medical affairs initiatives aligned with patient-first objectives.
ResponsibilitiesConduct scientific exchanges with physicians and healthcare professionals on product information and disease education
Identify and develop relationships with medical experts, consultants, and investigators in assigned therapeutic areas
Present Insmed product data to healthcare institutions and practitioners in compliance with policies
Implement advisory boards and scientific forums to gather customer insights and feedback
Support clinical development programs including trial site identification and recruitment activities
Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP/PA) in life sciences
Minimum 1+ years MSL experience or equivalent field medical background
Experience in rare/orphan, pulmonary/respiratory, or infectious diseases
Strong command of English with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of PhRMA code, Sunshine Act, HIPAA, and promotional regulations
Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to ethical standards and professional development
