Location: New York
Edgewise Therapeutics seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison to engage key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in cardiology, particularly in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure. The field-based role supports clinical development, advisory boards, and scientific education while building relationships across academic and community settings.
Responsibilities- Serve as cardiology scientific expert in peer-to-peer discussions with KOLs and healthcare professionals
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders at academic centers and community practices
- Provide accurate, fair-balanced scientific information responding to medical inquiries
- Support clinical trial teams in site identification, patient recruitment strategies, and site communication
- Prepare and facilitate advisory boards; gather medical insights and competitive intelligence for strategy
- Accredited doctorate in life science or basic science (Pharm.D.,
D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D., M.D./D.O.) - Minimum 4+ years as MSL or field medical/scientific role in pharma or biotech
- Prior cardiology or rare disease experience, preferably HCM and heart failure
- Ability to engage KOLs and healthcare professionals in academic and community settings
- Understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory environment
- Skilled at analyzing and communicating complex scientific data clearly
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders in matrix environments
