• Clinical Service Delivery (In-Person & Telehealth):
  Provide expert psychological services, including individual, couples, or family therapy. Your practice model is your own—see clients in your physical NYC office, remotely, or both.
• Psychological Assessment & Treatment Strategy:
  Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses, and design collaborative, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of a diverse New York City clientele.
• Professional Record-Keeping:
  Maintain precise, confidential, and timely client records in full compliance with HIPAA, New York State regulations, and APA ethical standards.
• Adherence to NYC & Professional Standards:
  Practice in strict accordance with the APA's code of ethics, all New York State laws governing the practice of psychology (as they apply within NYC), and federal telehealth guidelines.
• Practice Management & Autonomy:
  Manage all aspects of your client relationships, including scheduling and communications. You will establish your own professional fees and handle billing directly with your clients for full financial control.

• Education:
  
  A doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.D.) in Psychology from an APA-accredited or equivalent institution.
• Licensure:
  Must hold a current, active, and unrestricted license as a "Psychologist" issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), authorizing practice in New York City.
• Independent Practice:
  Your New York license must authorize you to practice psychology independently without supervision.
• Experience:
  
  Proven post-licensure experience delivering psychological assessment and therapy services.
• Telehealth
  
  Competency:
  
  If offering remote services, you must be proficient with HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms and knowledgeable about best practices and regulations for providing care in NYC.
• Professional Liability Insurance:
  Must maintain active professional liability (malpractice) insurance that covers your full scope of practice within New York City.

• Independent Contractor Status:
  You are your own boss. Operate as a $1099$ independent contractor with full control over your practice.
