Direct Support Professional

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and life skills development.
• Administer medications in accordance with regulations and agency procedures (AMAP certification required).
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, programs, recreational activities, and community outings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure individuals participate in meaningful daily activities.
• Provide supervision and support in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and maintain required certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License Required.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCIP-R and AMAP certifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
